Sustainability
Corporate social responsibility is woven into the fabric of our operations, fostering trust among customers, partners and society for enduring collaborations. Our overarching principle for modern management is minimising our environmental footprint, striving to reduce our reliance on non-renewable resources and to transition to sustainable alternatives.
Our company’s endeavours related to production processes, workplace environments, product safety, and resource utilisation are meticulously crafted to ensure that every end consumer receives products of the utmost quality and satisfaction.
In line with our commitment to sustainability, Ķekava Foods has been exclusively utilising green energy at its production facilities in Latvia since 2021. This milestone underscores our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint and embracing renewable energy solutions. A significant step in this direction is our Solar Panel Park project, scheduled to provide 13–16% of our electricity consumption. With the imminent launch of this initiative, we are poised to further diversify our renewable energy sources, marking another stride towards a greener and more environmentally conscious production cycle.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, our company pursues a sustainability strategy that actively addresses global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity preservation and ethical business practices. By integrating our efforts with UN targets, we contribute meaningfully to a brighter future for all.
